Fady Jamaleddine is a Beirut-based attorney whose four-decade career blends high-level legal counsel with a deep commitment to social justice and environmental regeneration.
After earning his LL.B. and LL.M. from Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, he founded Jamaleddine Law Firm in 1986, later transforming it into MENA City Lawyers (MCL)—a regional firm with offices in Beirut, Kuwait City, Doha, and Damascus. As Chairman and Senior Partner, he advises on corporate structuring, project finance (conventional and Islamic), renewable energy, real estate, and cross-border disputes. Under his leadership, MCL has ranked among The Lawyers Global’s top Lebanese firms since 2018.
Jamaleddine is active in global legal and energy networks, including the IBA, ABA, UIA, and World Energy Council, and serves as Vice-President of both the Justinian and International Lawyers Networks. A frequent speaker, he focuses on sustainable finance, energy policy, and corporate governance in the MENA region.
A lifelong advocate for public interest, he co-founded the Lebanese Human Rights Association in 1985 and continues to offer pro-bono legal aid in civil rights cases while mentoring young lawyers through the Beirut Bar Association.
Beyond law, he leads Crazy Farm Lebanon, a 170-hectare regenerative agriculture project in West Bekaa powered by solar energy and rooted in circular economy principles. Its sister company, Fresh Dry Foods SAL, produces additive-free preserves for local and export markets, while an on-site solar woodshop turns orchard off-cuts into furniture.
Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Jamaleddine believes “law and land are both trusts—every decision must protect community, client, and climate.”
